Grown at Hickory Downs Estate and Rising Vineyard, both in Nillumbik Yarra Valley.
Natural ferment, 5% whole bunches, hand plunged and foot stomped, then matured in 4th - 6th fill french oak barrels for 11 months. Bottled without fining or filtration.
Aromas of red cherry, plum, whole poached strawberry, enoki mushroom, cinnamon and subtle vanilla cream. On the palate fresh red fruits, trace nutmeg spice, long, complex and well structured.
